The major duties of this job are to assist with the maintenance and repair of Cooperative vehicles, equipment, tools, and facilities. Other duties are to serve as Commonwealth of Virginia licensed vehicle inspector for annual inspection of Cooperative-owned vehicles, maintain vehicle and equipment maintenance records, perform vehicle and equipment repair and maintenance in the field as required, pick up and deliver materials and supplies as required, wash and clean vehicles as needed, respond to after-hours and weekend trouble calls as required, operate garage during major power outages, and work in crews as a helper as required.
Applicants must have a high school diploma or recognized equivalent and a valid Class A commercial driver’s license. Salary commensurate with experience. Excellent fringe benefits.
